In the under 18's ITF Tournament at Szczecin Tennis Centre in the final match Rafał easily defeated Italian player Stefano Travagalia 6-2, 6-4. On his way to the final Rafał succeeded in defeating Radosław Pisarek, Tomasz Olfans and Italian players: Emanuele Molina and Alessandro Bega.

The most difficult, however, turned out to be the semi-final with Allesandro Bega, when in a tie-break Rafał was already losing 2-5. Howewer, he didn't "let go" and the set was finished by winning 9-7. The second set was under Rafał's total control and ended up with a score of 6-0.

In  the doubles, together with Bartłomiej Fedyna, in the first round they defeated Ukrainian couple Dolgoseyev & Malysev, and again in the second round against the number one Italian couple Molina & Sinicropi. Finally, in the semi-finals, they had to suffer defeat to their club friends Pisarek & Chojnacki.
